Shipping & Delivery
Delivery Area: Delivery is available within Sweden and to EU countries.
Shipping Cost: Shipping cost is calculated and displayed at checkout before you complete your purchase.
Production & Packing Time:
- Ready-made products (from Shop): shipped within 2-4 business days.
- Custom-made products (Design Your Own): sewn to order, shipped within 10 business days.
Delivery Time:
- Within Sweden: 1-4 business days
- Outside Sweden: 3-10 business days. International delivery times may be affected by customs and are not the responsibility of Sewstainable by Marie. Any customs duties and taxes are paid by the recipient.
Unclaimed packages: If the package is not collected in time, a fee of SEK 200 will be charged for return shipping and administration.
Return of ready-made products (from Shop)
Right of withdrawal: You have a 14-day right of withdrawal from the day you receive your order.
Product condition: The product must be unused. In case of signs of use, Sewstainable by Marie reserves the right to make a depreciation deduction of up to 100%.
Return shipping: The customer is responsible for return shipping and ensuring that the item is packaged so that it is not damaged during transport.

Return of custom-made products (Design Your Own)
According to the Distance Contracts Act, you cannot return products that have been sewn according to your instructions. Returns are only accepted if the item is sewn incorrectly or not according to the placed order.
Complaint
Right to complain: You have a 3-year right to complain for original defects. This covers defects that were on the product when you received it. It does not cover defects that have arisen due to normal wear and tear, incorrect use, or accidents. Please note that Sewstainable by Marie's products are sewn from carefully selected, recycled textiles. This means that the fabrics have had a previous life. Minor color variations or irregularities are part of the product's unique design and charm and are therefore not considered a defect that can be complained about.
Return shipping: In case of approved complaint, Sewstainable by Marie pays for the return shipping.
Want to complain? Contact hello@sewstainablebymarie.com with pictures and order number. In line with sustainability goals, I primarily aim to repair the product. If that is not possible, it will be replaced with an equivalent item or a refund.
Cancelled order
If any material should, against all odds, be out of stock, Sewstainable by Marie reserves the right to cancel your order against a full refund. Sewstainable by Marie will contact you if this should occur.
Payment Terms
Prices and payment: All prices are stated in SEK including 25% VAT.
Payment methods: We offer card payment (Visa, Mastercard, Amex), invoice/part payment via Klarna, and digital payment methods such as Swish, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.
Security: We never store your card details – all payments are handled securely by our payment provider.
Privacy Policy
When you confirm your order, you agree that Sewstainable by Marie collects and stores your personal data in accordance with GDPR.
Purpose: Name, contact information, and order history are collected to manage your purchase and delivery.
Data sharing: Data is only shared with necessary partners (Shopify, payment provider, shipping company) and is never sold.
Storage: Data is saved as long as required – accounting records for 7 years as per law.
